Jumoke made the statement while discussing an issue 'is it a must to get married?' on 'Your View' this morning, which was considered to be paramount by the presenters of the programme.
In the presenter words, she explained that, being married doesn't portray someone as
being responsible, it's an individual thing.
She further explained that, many married men/women are out there and still act or behave irresponsibly.
However, Jumoke concedes that marriage is a beautiful thing but doesn't support the way the society disrespect adults who are unmarried. Living with the perception that only individuals who are married are responsible and should be respected.
Here, she mentioned the famous blogger, Linda Ikeji, as a good example of a responsible woman, one who is not married but successful and takes good care of her family.
