NFF To Bring In a Foreign Coach In Two Weeks

Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the hiring of a foreign coach for the Super Eagles in two weeks.

This was revealed by NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, who further mentioned that he incoming manager’s salaries will be footed by a private company.

“We’re going to get a foreign manager for the team,” Pinnick said.

“And we are going to ensure that Nigeria qualify for the World Cup and do exceedingly well, too.

“We’ll make them utilise all FIFA windows to play quality friendly matches.

“There is nothing to worry about the payment of salary for the foreign manager. His wages are going to be taken care of by the private sector. We’ve concluded that and it will not cost government anything.”

However, some Nigerians think NFF made the best decision which will put the Super Eagles together to achieving greatness while others lamented and do not buy the idea.

"Why should NFF think of hiring a foreign coach when we have capable coaches here in Nigeria? This is my country and I believe there are men out there that have garnered the experience Super Eagles need to be where they should be. Time is what I believe would work for the team. If the NFF hires a Nigerian coach and gives him time to train his team well, I'm sure we'll get there". A worker, Adetunji said.

  1. Corruption in NFF!!! The football association should be summoned by the necessary body for investigation.
