A new video has been released by Boko haram, stating in the video their plan to release chibok girls, who have been abducted for about 2 years and 4 months, in return for their fighters captured.
"They should know that their children are still in our hands," a man with his face covered says in the 11-minute recording released on YouTube.
"There is a number of the girls, about 40 of them, that have been married," he says, as a number of girls sit and stand behind him.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government, through its information minister, Lai Mohammed, says it's doing everything possible to save and secure the girls.
Bukky Shonibare, a member of Bring Back Our Girls campaign mentioned in an interview that knowing the girls are still alive after seeing the video brings a little bit of relief to the BBOG and also to their parents.
